About Our Company
Forshaw of St. Louis, Inc. was founded in 1871 by Joseph Forshaw I, who moved to the United States from England at the age of 19. He was a cabinetmaker by trade and began his company by producing wood molds for making cast iron parts.
Over the course of our 154-year history, the company has expanded from cast iron parts into becoming a local and national business in the Hearth & Outdoor Living Industry.
Come 2025, Forshaw of St. Louis, Inc. is a leading manufacturer, distributor and retailer of Hearth & Outdoor Products, with five generations of experience!
